🎮 Former CVS Gets a New Tenant

We got the scoop on what’s coming to the former downtown CVS!

The former CVS on 4th Street

  • Background: The CVS on 4th Street closed in January 2024 and sat vacant until summer 2025, when local entrepreneur AC Hengler bought the building for $1.5 million and started renovating it.

  • What: Hengler is transforming the space into a Sandbox VR location, which uses headsets, motion-capture cameras, full-body trackers, and haptic suits for immersive virtual reality experiences.

  • Why It Matters: This will be the first Sandbox VR in North Carolina! Hengler’s hope is that its prime location and high-tech entertainment will bring more foot traffic to downtown Winston-Salem.

  • Expect: Over 10 experiences, from the educational “Age of Dinosaurs” to adventures based on Netflix hits like “Stranger Things” and “Squid Game.”

  • When: Expected to open in July 2026!

Sail into summer with an extra boost of confidence thanks to CoolSculpting® at The VISTA.

  • What: CoolSculpting® is an FDA-cleared treatment that freezes and eliminates stubborn fat cells, delivering an average 20–25% reduction in treated areas.

  • Who it’s for: Healthy, active adults with a few stubborn spots that won’t budge.

Take $400 off your treatment this April with their Cool Month Special (valid for new and existing patients). Start with a free consultation and be summer-ready in no time!*
