What: Four-time FIFA World Cup champions Germany will use Wake Forest’s Spry Soccer Stadium as its training site and the Graylyn Estate as its team headquarters.

When: The team arrives in Winston-Salem on June 8, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup will run from June 11 through July 19 across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

🧸 Feel Good: The Twin City Thunderbirds are donating 8,023 teddy bears to local first responders to help comfort children during emergencies! The bears came from the annual Teddy Bear Toss, where fans throw teddy bears onto the ice following the Thunderbirds’ first goal of the game.
