Bowman Gray Stadium hosts NASCAR’s Clash for the second year in a row this upcoming weekend!

  • What: The Clash refers to both the weekend-long event and the headline race on Sunday. As the season opener for the NASCAR Cup Series, The Clash has been a racing staple since it began in 1979.

  • When: Madhouse Classic races take place on Saturday, while The Clash race starts at 8 PM on Sunday. You can purchase tickets for one day or both!

  • Why It Matters: The Clash will bring thousands of fans to Winston-Salem, delivering a major economic boost and showcasing our city to millions of NASCAR enthusiasts watching at home.

  • New This Year: A new $1 million video board, an additional Madhouse Classic race, and the Clash Fan Track Walk, a ticketed add-on experience that allows fans to walk the track and meet drivers!

  • Events: Even if you’re not heading to The Clash, you can still catch the racing excitement at local NASCAR events around town — see the event section for details!

  • Clash Fan Preview - Check out NASCAR racecars, attend driver Q&A sessions, and grab an autograph from your favorite competitor at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. 10 AM - 2 PM

  • 🎤 Announced: The Fray will headline Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s SummerLark benefit concert on May 9, supporting the Cancer Patient Support Program. They last performed in Winston-Salem for Gears & Guitars 2024!

  • 🎭 Arts: The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem announced its 92nd season, featuring hit musicals “Frozen” and “Come From Away”! While you wait for the new season to begin, explore what these local theater companies have coming up next.

  • 👦 Coming Soon: Imprints Cares’ Center for Thriving Children will open at the Brookridge senior community’s campus on March 2!
