It’s not the Fourth of July without fireworks — here’s where they’re happening this year!
Dash Baseball | Truist Stadium | 6:30 PM | Live painters, patriotic crafts, a City Proclamation, and the city’s largest fireworks show after the game!
Kernersville | Kernersville Elementary School | 5-9:30 PM | 10+ food trucks, face painting, and live music make this a great pick for families.
Disco Turkeys Baseball | Couch Ballpark | 6:30 PM | Cheer on the Disco Turkeys and stay for the post-game fireworks!
Mocksville | Davie County Community Park | 6:30-10:30 PM | Head south for live music, food trucks, and a fireworks show.
Yadkinville | Downtown | 10 AM – 10 PM | Parade in the morning, fireworks at night, and a full day of vendors and food trucks in between.
🚨 Few things will ruin a holiday weekend before it gets going more than a ticket! Before you hit the road, take a look at this quick guide from Bell, Davis & Pitt P.A. to help you avoid unnecessary citations.
Tip 1: Watch your speed — law enforcement may pull you over for driving even a few MPH above the posted speed limit
Tip 2: Know that an open container includes anything with the manufacturer's seal already broken; leave those at home
Tip 3: Ensure that your license and registration are current and your license plate is clearly visible

Old Salem - Step back in time at Old Salem for Declaration of Independence readings, bucket brigade fire drills, historic games, and live music. Activities throughout the day.
Red, White & Breathe - Dance to hits from every decade at Breathe Cocktail Lounge. Step outside at dusk to catch Kernersville's fireworks! 5 PM - 2 AM
Potluck Picnic - Bring a dish and join the neighborhood at Miller Park for games, live music, and a kids' art activity. 12 PM

Piedmont Pops - The Piedmont Wind Symphony brings iconic American music to Incendiary Brewing for free! 7:30 PM
Farmers Market - Trade Street fills with local vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods, and more. 10 AM - 2 PM
Free Cocktail Class - Learn to make different styles of mules at easytalk. No reservations required — arrive early to claim a seat. 4 PM
Candle Making - Create 2 custom candles with Hand the Light at Wise Man Brewing. Stick around for shaved ice, food trucks, and vinyl night! 2 PM

The Lab - Underground and emerging artists take over The Ramkat for a night of live music and art vendors. 8 PM

🍽 Upcoming: Honoré opens in the former location of 6th & Vine this August! The menu will include tapas, hors d’oeuvres, and antipasto. Stay tuned for more info — our team will be interviewing the owner soon.
🎡 Fair: Competitive entries for the Carolina Classic Fair are now open! Enter one (or several) categories, ranging from livestock and agriculture to fine arts and even Christmas tree decorating. The deadline to enter is September 1.
⛪ Reopened: The Gemeinhaus at Historic Bethabara Park is open for tours again! The building closed in November 2025 for restoration work on the plaster, roof, and bell tower. Built in 1788, the Gemeinhaus served as the Moravians' church, meeting space, school, and minister's house.
🥤 Drinks: Soda, but make it more fun. The Bendy Straw serves up dirty sodas, refreshers, and energy drinks — the perfect way to cool off. Team member Christy stopped by yesterday for The Winston-Salem (Dr Pepper, peach, vanilla, and half and half)!
🏛 Civic: Want a sneak peek at the city's plans? City department reps share upcoming construction and service projects at a free virtual event on July 14!

🍜 New Restaurant Alert
Our team visited Tsukimi, Winston-Salem’s newest noodle spot! Here’s the scoop:
What: Husband-and-wife duo Jessica and Lin bring over 20 years of restaurant experience to their new venture. The restaurant (formerly Binki Cafe) underwent a 5-month renovation to create a relaxing lounge feel.
Food: Authentic Japanese ramen alongside Thai and Chinese noodle dishes, plus their signature Japanese mixed noodles. Broth and meat are made in-house! Team members Matt and Ashley loved the Thai Curry.
