Grand Opening | July 16 at NCMA Winston-Salem Downtown | NCMA's brand-new downtown gallery debuts with works from 13 North Carolina artists! The exhibit runs through August 30.
The Big Chill | July 18 at Knollwood Baptist Church | Homemade ice cream, live music, and food trucks collide at The Shalom Project's biggest fundraiser of the year.
Beat the Heat 5K | July 18 at Winston-Salem Fairgrounds | This evening 5K has been a Triad favorite for 30+ years. Celebrate your finish with free pizza, subs, and beer!
HuffJam | July 25 at The Ramkat | BMX riders from around the world spin, flip, and defy gravity in this national competition. Free for spectators, with DJs and food trucks all day.
The Shift | July 25 at Merschel Park | An immersive art exhibition honoring Winston-Salem's rich Black history through visual art, storytelling, and installations.
Sidewalk Sale | July 25 at Reynolda Village | Winston-Salem's popular boutique-hopping tradition returns. Stop for coffee at Dough-Joe’s or a crepe at Penny Path while you shop!
International Black Theatre Festival | July 27 – Aug 1 in Downtown Winston-Salem | The world's largest celebration of Black theatre returns with 100+ performances, workshops, and a star-studded gala. Check out the full calendar, including Old School Block Party and Midnight Poetry Jam.

Women Making an Impact
Find community and make a positive impact on our city with the Junior League of Winston-Salem.

What do they do? This women's organization focuses on building leadership through volunteer work. Members give their time, train together, and collaborate on local causes including:
Providing meals for local students when they do not have access to free breakfast and lunch at school
Helping students navigate college applications through Crosby Scholars
Teaching families healthy food choices through Kids in the Kitchen
Why join: Hands-on volunteer projects, leadership training, and a built-in circle of friends.
Get to know them: Ask questions and meet current members at an upcoming interest meeting.
