A MESSAGE FROM THE WINSTON-SALEM DASH

What's Hot at the Dash

We caught up with the Winston-Salem Dash to find out what fans are loving and what's coming up that you won't want to miss.

What People Are Loving:

  • Food & Drink: The menu is bringing serious heat this season. Fan favorites include Fried Apple Empanadas, non-alcoholic mocktails, and Toasted Ravioli — plus the Reaper Tender Challenge for the brave (finish them all and your photo earns a spot on the Wall of Champions).

  • The Sweetteas: The Dash's professional dance troupe brings the energy to every Saturday home game.

  • Easy Parking: Complimentary spots are available at Dash off-site lots.

What's Coming Up:

  • 🤠 Father's Day Weekend (June 20-21): 90’s country night on Saturday and celebrate your dad on Sunday.

  • 🇺🇸 America's 250th Birthday Celebration (July 2-4): Three nights of patriotic fun, special on-field jerseys, and the city's largest firework show.

  • 🩲 Touch a Truck (August 9): See and touch all kinds of trucks — military transport, construction equipment, emergency and first responder vehicles, and more.

  • 🪄 Harry Potter Night (August 29): The first 500 fans through the gates get a randomized Hogwarts™ house scarf.

️☀️ Summer Bucket List

There’s no shortage of things to do in Winston-Salem this summer! Create your own bucket list so that you don’t miss out. Here are some ideas to inspire you:

The Fields at Sunflower Trail

  • Pick Sunflowers | Brighten up your home with freshly picked sunflowers from flower farms like The Fields at Sunflower Trail and Dewberry Farms! Each farm varies, but generally sunflowers are in season from mid-summer through early fall.

  • Enjoy Frozen Treats | Satisfy your sweet tooth at one (or several) of these 15+ ice cream spots! Team member Jacob plans to get a scoop of Twin City Sweets’ graham cracker ice cream this weekend.

  • Relax at a Winery | Unwind with a glass of wine in hand, surrounded by beautiful views. Over 10 vineyards and wineries sit less than an hour from Winston-Salem — plenty of options for a scenic afternoon escape.

Summer is dangerous. At least according to NCDOT data. It shows a major spike in serious auto accidents during the summer months. Deuterman Law Group suggests how to stay safer this season:

  • Maintain: Heat can wear down tires, batteries, and cooling systems, so don’t skip routine maintenance.

  • Stay Alert: Summer means more traffic, road construction, and distracted or inexperienced drivers. Slow down, stay focused, and keep the phone out of reach.

  • Be Prepared: Review your insurance coverage before a trip, and if you’re in an accident, don’t speak with insurance adjusters without legal advice.

If the unexpected happens, contact Deuterman Law Group for a free case consultation.*
