Who: Local filmmakers Carissa Joines and Chad Nance of Calico Bonnet Productions wrote and produced the movie!
Why It Matters: North Carolina’s film and TV industry is growing, and “Night Terrors” shows the Piedmont Triad has the actors, locations, and crew to support major productions. Case in point: Project Space 411 is bringing a culinary film studio to downtown Winston-Salem next year.

🛝 Closed: Hathaway Park’s playground will be demolished and rebuilt elsewhere in the park. The Recreation & Parks Department said spray from the nearby splash pad was causing the original playground to rust. Commenters are hoping the new playground is fenced in.
📜 History: MUSE Winston-Salem hosts two traveling history exhibits March 18-30. This will be the first time the public can visit their new space at 226 S. Liberty Street! Note: This is only a temporary opening; the history museum officially opens in late 2026.
