  • Craft Workshop - Create tiny woven birdhouse cards at The Open Studio in this family-friendly workshop! 10 AM

  • Spring Jam - Make a margarita, play yard games, and watch The Porch’s staff compete in a wing-eating contest at the Mill Works courtyard! 12-8 PM

  • Pups in the Park - Bring your pup to Washington Park, meet fellow dog parents, and get free frisbees and tennis balls! 11 AM - 2 PM

  • 🗣 Update: Cynthia Erivo’s Face to Face Speaker Forum appearance has been postponed to Sept. 16, and Earvin “Magic” Johnson will now serve as Season Five’s final speaker on April 14 at LJVM Coliseum. Johnson had originally been scheduled as Season Five’s opening speaker!

  • 👂 Overheard: In the Winston-Salem Eats Facebook group, Laura shared, “Y’all, we went to District 924 for the second time in a month yesterday. If you haven’t been, do NOT sleep on this place!” Recommended: the catfish nuggets and deviled eggs.

  • 🏆 Award: Salem Bottleworks won the NAIOP NC Redevelopment Project of the Year! Jared Rogers and his team transformed the former Coca-Cola Bottling Plant into a mixed-use space home to Bobby Boy’s second location, Grandpa Joe’s Slaberia, and Noodle Ju’B — with more still to come.
