🎵 Winston-Salem's Dance Party

Taylor Lively was tired of driving to Charlotte and Raleigh for electronic music shows. So she brought them to the Triad.

  • What: Groove Lab is a pop-up series of high-energy 18+ dance parties hosted at local venues like Bar Nola’s The Edison!

  • Growth: Groove Lab’s first event in 2023 had 100 people; now the average event sees 150-300 attendees!

    • “A lot of those early attendees were first-timers or people who happened to wander in at the right moment, and many of them 3 years later are still coming to Groove Lab parties.” - Taylor

  • Community: Taylor described Groove Lab’s community as a family that’s formed over the past 3 years.

    • “We've all bonded over a shared love for music and dancing, but it goes beyond that. There is something so special [about] being surrounded by people who genuinely value experiences, who show up to feel something, to be present and to enjoy life together.” - Taylor

  • Looking Ahead: Taylor hopes for Groove Lab to expand to more venues, bring in bigger artists, and eventually host its own boutique-style festivals in the Triad!

  • Next Up: Jam out with Groove Lab this Saturday from 9 PM - 1 AM, surrounded by the glowing artwork projections of Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience! Grab your tickets.

A French inspired estate near Reynolda Village just hit the market for $1.9M.

  • About: Designed by Wilmington architect Henry Johnston in 1988.

  • Layout: The home spans 6,562 square feet with four bedrooms, four full baths, and two half baths on 2.33 acres.

  • Features: Main level primary suite with private courtyard and dual baths, tile roofing, stone terrace, and French doors.
