🏀 New CP3 Mural
There’s a new mural at Rupert Bell Park (1501 Mt. Zion Pl.) featuring Winston-Salem native and NBA star Chris Paul!

What: Artist Brian Peterson and The Urbane Artist turned the park’s courts and pavilion into a tribute to Paul’s impact on and off the court. It shows him shooting hoops alongside neighborhood kids.
Funding: This project was funded by the Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI) Public Art Revitalization Program. While CNI primarily supports affordable housing in East Winston-Salem, a small portion was set aside for beautifying the surrounding neighborhood.
See It Friday: The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting this Friday, Oct 23, at 10 AM! Who knows, Chris Paul might show up.
🍂 The holidays are almost here, and that means full kitchens and frequent guests. If all that togetherness has you rethinking how your home functions, ICON Custom Builders can help reimagine your space. Here’s a look at some recent transformations built for gathering:
West End: A small, dated kitchen in a 1918 Colonial Revival home became a new hub for this family of five. The transformation features a large island with seating for everyone, a walk-in pantry, and a custom coffee bar.
Country Club: A closed-off kitchen now connects to the living room, an unused hallway is now a walk-in pantry, and an 8-foot sliding window now opens onto the deck for effortless entertaining.
Westview: Local designer Windsor Dalton trusted ICON with his own home. An enlarged window fills the kitchen with natural light, a quartzite island adds prep and serving space, and a new powder room carved out of a full bath is ready for guests.*
