🛒 “Winston Needs a Grocery Store”
We hear you. Although it’s not a conventional grocery store, Washington Perk & Provisions has served as downtown’s neighborhood market for over a decade!

Washington Perk & Provisions
What: Washington Perk carries everyday essentials, from pantry staples like eggs, milk, fruit, and vegetables to household basics like soap, shampoo, and kitchen items.
Backstory: In 2010, John and Jayne Johnston opened the original Washington Perk in the building that's now home to Acadia Foods. They opened the 4th Street location in 2013.
Counter Service: Beyond the grocery aisles, there's a full counter menu, too. Think deli sandwiches made to order, hand-scooped ice cream, fresh fruit smoothies, and coffee to fuel the rest of your errands.
Where: Corner of 4th and N. Cherry Streets
